As the Creative Director, I keep communication with advertisers for funding of the print editions, and organisation of all visual media for the magazine, including photoshoots, art curation, visual commissins etc. My team and I consistently do in-depth cultural research into our target audience demographic. We craft a theme and visual direction which adheres to a younger audience with an interest in queer subculture.
UTOPIA
Devour: Issue 04
Our third issue centers on the theme DEVOUR. We chose it for its link to hunger and desire, and how it mirrors a culture driven by constant consumption. At the same time, it gives space for under-represented people to speak freely without guilt or pressure. The theme also opens up bold visual ideas around greed, destruction, and consumption.

Sanctity of Self: Art Exhibition
self-fashioning
Head organiser for a sold-out event focused on self-expression and self-fashioning across mediums like photography and crochet canvas work. The exhibition brought together student and independent artists from across Bristol. I handled venue coordination, artist outreach, scheduling, and on-site operations. We secured Thatcher's Cider as a sponsor, who supplied their newest unreleased drink for the night. The event made over £1,000, which we donated to local Bristol charities.
Annual Fashion Show
Eclectic
Our annual 2024 fashion show centres around the theme of eclectic. Working with Drapers' Company, who provided us with funding for the show, we earned a profit of over £1,000 donated to local bristol charities.
Working with a high-production team, I took the role of organising visual journalism of the event, as well as communication with all technical and visual aspects of the production, including lighting design, DJ set up, and model coaching etc.
